Text change in game for paralyze/slow

Sidanoir gains the effect of slowed.
Sidanoir gains the effect of paralyzed.

Sidanoir succesfully removes Sidanoir's paralyzed.
Sidanoir's slowed effect wears off

Why/how the hell did they change that o.O
This is gonna be an important version update note just like the change of gils to gil!

I could see it as being intentional if slowed and paralyzed were in quotes. i.e. "Slow effect" sounds like an effect that is slow, "'Slowed' effect" is less ambiguous.


Next update, SE will nerf the Oxford comma.

They must have some new localization guy over there in Japantown. Last update "gil" was changed to "gils." Apparently the person is submitting fixes without anyone doing a review, or if they are being reviewed it's by someone who can't speak gewd English.

I was confused the second I saw "effect of weighed down" (Gravity).

The localization guy making these un-needed and wrong changes should be fired. C'mon, {English} {Do you speak it} motherfucker?

They must have some new localization guy over there in Japantown. Last update "gil" was changed to "gils." Apparently the person is submitting fixes without anyone doing a review, or if they are being reviewed it's by someone who can't speak gewd English.

I thought what they did with gil was change the AH fee message from saying "gils" to "gil" because "gils" was an error. I haven't seen the term "gils" in game since.

They didn't change it intentionally. Just like Warrior's Mufflers requirement to equip changing to 75 and 'gil' changing to 'gils', nobody actually changed it directly (even by mistake). Something else they did just had side effect of changing it.

I don't think SE even knows what an Oxford comma is. They'd sooner spam your chatlog with ten lines to say what could have been condensed into one.
