Watch Needless. Its a shounen parody show (think gurren) but about super powers instead of mechs. And its fucking awesome. Not quite gurren levels, but still pretty good.

Railgun on the other hand, is a show about teenage girls set in same universe as to aru majutsu no index. Many people here disliked/hated it, but I enjoyed it. Saten and Biribiri are olev.

I personally hate railgun and index (anime only, haven't tried manga/novel), but enough people like it to say give it a chance and see what you think. Horrible pacing for the few episodes I saw, but maybe it gets better?

That reminds me, fripSide advertising their next single and using the railgun girls for it(just Uiharu and Saten though).

index at least have a bit waay too much talking and the whole pacing felt overly slow

as for railgun, i just can't fucking stand kuroko's existence for me to actually go through the whole series.

I mean I love watching bitches getting curbstomped and all on the new season, but getting there means going through a gauntlet of uninteresting scenes and dialogue

Kuroko is a comedy relief character trying to be serious and generally just falls flat in the end. Her obsession is creepy even by anime standards.
It also breaks my suspension of disbelief to see her do well in just about every fight since a strong breeze looks like it could knock her out.

Already posted this in games section but deserve one here since it's getting an anime adaptation next Spring and if the animation is same as the opening I'm hell excited.

The OVA is straight from the manga/novels and it skips ahead a bit of where the anime left off so you might be confused if you don't read either, just FYI. They also changed the character designs to be closer to the manga.

I watched about ~4 episodes of Needless and thought it was lame and full of cliches, but then someone told me it was supposed to be as it was a parody and that I dropped it right before it really started showing. I've been meaning to go back to it, but I haven't gotten around to it.

I love the Index/Railgun universe, and some of the characters (namely Railgun and Accelerator), and the story has it's moments. It's far from perfect, and a lot of episodes feel like filler, but I don't regret watching it.

I pretty much despise Index though. The supposed "main story arc" is so far in the dark that it might as well not be there. There is virtually no connection between any of the episodes. They could happen in any order and nothing would change. Oh, and main character is a fucking moron, and the dialog is downright painful.

So good. So good. Sunako revealed to be the 'mother' vampire and Chizuru is actually the daughter. Her getting tricked and stoned, man I actually felt bad for her, well done scene. Toshio's grin was just too fucking epic, so glad he had a plan after all, probably opposing orders from Natsuno. Freaking awesome. Hopefully the villagers will begin to take action now that there was such a big display. Things should finally heat up now with some sort of confrontation at the very least. The one thing odd to me is the wardrobe of Natsuno, does becoming a shiki give one an amazing sense of unique style? First the pimp coat and pink shoes and now the suit with the puffy pants or whatever, very unique to say the least. haha

Yeah, that "just as planned" was one of the better scenes in the manga.Loved it. He was kinda lucky it actually worked, but good for him, I guess

Guess I'll see some Needless tonight. I saw the first episode and I thought it was okay. Kind of felt like X-Men anime style for some reason.

Poor Fukiyose.... Oriana is one sly fox, hope she get whats coming to her.

Finally one of the parts Between Misaka and Touma got animated. I couldn't stop laughing at Misaka's imagination running wild at the thought of Touma wanting to embrace her for a kiss(Touma's action didn't help one bit).

Excellent cover by Kiyotaka Haimura. Happy he won the best Novel Illustrator for 2010 with his talent for cute girls to manly stuff.

FUYUKAWA is another person I can't stop praising for the excellent work on Railgun manga. really went a long way from dojo to legit stuff.

^ Nice reference to Index Novel 12+13. he'll be accelerator main adversary in final arc for season 2.

Yeah, some people (I won't mention Maguspk's name) aren't very good with the whole spoiler tags thing. They seem to think that everyone who reads this thread has seen everything that they have. If this were the thread for a specific show, then that wouldn't bother me, but...

On Hellsing Ultimate? MadHouse contract was terminated for their Long delay. Graphinica and Kelmadick are making the Last 3 Hellsing OVA'S. supposedly the 8th volume got a mid/late 2011 release.
