ok wut..

Really gross, but cool! Guy on meth decided to cut himself and start pulling his intestines out. Cops had to cuff him to stop him from pulling more out. This was an incident that happened about a week ago. The guy cut himself and then reached in with his hands and pulled out the intestines. He did survive. Thought you'd enjoy the pics -Sam

Somehow I doubt the legitimacy of those pics. If he cut himself open like that he would have died from blood loss incredibly quick.

That blood on the knife just doesn't look right. Along with the fact there is little to no blood on the ground... and he would have lost a massive amount of blood in a short amount of time

lol you guys are retarded. you don't just die instantly from an evisceration. That's just a bunch of hollywood bullcrap. Same way you don't die instantly when a bullet hits your chest. Once your heart is gone, you've still got about 5-10 minutes.

There are medical procedures to take care of an evisceration, which is why people CAN SURVIVE them. Keeping the organs moist will keep them fit for being put back in and then the victim can be sewn back up. also, you don't lose alot of blood unless you cut a major artery or something. If he hit his liver, he would probably bleed to death very quickly because it is a vascular organ, but obviously this guy didn't.

So it doesn't surprise me that the guy possibly lived and was very much alive in those pictures.

The veins and arteries there aren't big enough that you'd bleed out. However you could EASILY die from loosing all the blood cells needed to coagulate the blood. He's lucky to live (if it's true)

That being said, I'd have let him die.

Re: Evisceration pics

I think if I saw that in person my first reaction would be to vomit immediately. I've sat in operating theaters and watched a ceserian section and those pics are far more disturbing. In fact, I'm getting a little nauseous just thinking about those pictures a few minutes or so after seeing them. What I did notice is that he seems not to have punctured the intestines anywhere so at least he's not totally septic lol

Now as for the Hollywood 'shot in the chest = instant death' I do agree that it's pretty overdone. However, if you're shot and ether through the physical damage of the bullet itself or the impact trauma causes your heart to stop pumping you'll pass out in about 15-60 seconds for you to lose consciousness due to lack of O2 in the brain. After that your heart muscle will begin to necrotize (sp?) from blood loss and brain damage will start shortly after. Within that 5-10 minutes (of which it is exceedingly likely a person would be conscious) the brain will slowly degenerate due to lack of oxygen and brain death will shortly ensue.

Things like that happen all the time to people on meth... not long ago in Newcastle, iirc, some guy full of meth ran out with katana and just started chopping people in the street. So highly believable
