Overwhelming Elemental Energy effect

Not sure if anyone is really interested in the stats but I've just finished breaksynthing four levels of Shrimp Lanterns, and I haven't seen any actual stats on exactly how much Overwhelming elemental energy saves you in materials, so here goes.

Shrimp Lanterns 73 cap Goldsmithing (45 Alchemy, 31 Smithing)

Levels 69.0-73.0
Total Synths: 125
Tin Ingots Lost: 61 (48.8%)
Beeswax Lost: 54 (43.2%)
Moblin Putty Lost: 55 (44.0%)
Moblumin Sheet Lost: 53 (42.4%)

Total Lost Ingredients 223/500 = 44.6%

Isn't the rate about 60% without any Mogenhancement, or am I confusing that with the general fail rate?

I'm not really sure. I like to cost different synths ahead of time when skilling, and this is the first time breaksynthing has really been necessary. When I came up to it though, I couldn't find any info on ingredient loss rates, with or without Moghancements.

The breaksynths coming up 73-80 are far more expensive than the Shrimp Lanterns and I wanted to have an idea of how much gil I needed to commit before getting started.
