So when do they give out the MVP award?
Have votes been casted yet? If not I don't see how anyone can be unbiased with the outcome of the play-offs :X
BTW, Go Spurs
All awards were already voted on before the playoffs started unfortunately.Originally Posted by Iono
Wonder why they take so long to announce em then.
probably trying to change it so the league doesn't get embarassed XD
Same thing happens in MLB... The Cy Young Award, MVP and Rookie of the Year awards are all voted on before the playoffs start, and are announced the weeks following the conclusion of the World Series. No clue why they do that, but its something they've always done.
Man.. Nash got his nose busted WIDE open.
Dirk MVP
Witness.
These finals sucked harder than watching Curling at the Olympics.
Yea. Spurs totally dominated (well Parker at least)... Cavs will have their day soon as long as LeBron stays there. Speaking of LeBron, gotta love the name of his new son >> Bryce Maximus James.

Very nice. Sorry, I guess I felt like being an ass like Skip from that "First Take" show. XD I don't have issues with LeBron. I think he's a great player and will get even better. /shrugOriginally Posted by Deejay
God those finals were so awful. Here's to next year...
I'm now looking forward to seeing Portland v. Chicago next year. (not in the finals, just in general)
Lebron is the reason the Cavs lost the game last night to be perfectly honest... I think he lost like 6 balls in the last 3 minutes in the 4th quarter.
The game is a lot harder to play when it's 5 vs 1. When your 2nd best player has a broken foot and the only person whos playing to their potential looks like side-show bob...you'll tend to make mistakes.
I still don't agree with them running the bullshit ass pick and roll every posession when all it did was promote more double and triple teams on lebron. (although if their role players could make a jumper things would be different)
Everyone is being so critical of a 22 yr-old Lebron James when the "real MVP"(lol) Steve Nash couldnt stop the Spurs either, even with the help of 2 all-stars and the 6th man of the year.
Point is, the dude is nuts and with time he'll mature into a great player. Will he be better than Jordan? I dont think so, will he win championships? Only time will tell, and fortunatly for him and his team, that is something they have plenty of.
Um, the Spurs had a little help against Nash and the gang. :wink:Originally Posted by Deejay
Wait, those were the NBA finals?
And here I thought they were just 3 hour commercials for Tony Parkers wedding....
