Most sympathetic RPG villains

Well, he was the main villain throughout the story (unless you count Seymour for that role).

It's not as if it were somebody you'd never seen or heard of before until the end where its like "Surprise!" like Necron from FF9.

(Ultimecia's weird final form, Sephiroth's final form, "hi2u!!1" Necron and Yu Yevon, or Vayne's stupid super sayan final form...)

Sephiroth and Vayne are ok. You knew from the start that they were the enemies and you were going to fight them eventually. I honestly preferred Vayne because i was sympathetic with what he wanted to do, and not to mention that his speech trew me off, since it din't sound like what a bad guy would say.

Yea, I only say Jecht because it was kind of like...SURPRISE >.> but I do agree it wasn't less of a Surprise then WTFnecron in FFIX. None-the-less FFIX was pretty good overall I thought. Didn't feel any sympathy though >.>
