wtf @ limewire pro always starting when i turn it off?

everytime i start my laptop and if i exit out of it, it starts up again
-it wasnt like this last week
-i looked under options but im not sure what to look for
-ive tried uninstalling then installing and installing again
-i recently started dling of demonoid.com when this started happening

Are you running antivirus and firewall protection?

Have you removed all startup instances from Msconfig Startup?

Have you scanned you system with an adaware program? (available free here)

you can remove the startup instance of limewire by going into msconfig

To do this:

1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type "msconfig" no quotes and hit enter
4. Click on the startup tab on the top
5. Uncheck limewire and apply/restart and see if it worked

If this doesn't solve your problem or limewire adds itself to msconfig each time it runs (similar to msn) you need to look for the setting to disable it under the options in the program....keep looking, it's hiding but it's probably there.
