MILWAUKEE - All it took was one smash of a sledgehammer and two young thieves were in.
Target surveillance cameras caught two boys breaking into one of its stores, located at 8501 W. Brown Deer Road, with a sledgehammer.
Police think the boys are as young as 11-years old.
"Where are they getting a sledgehammer at 11-years old?" Target shopper Layshon Davis wondered.
The video shows the boys going right for the electronics department, specifically the video games. One boy tries breaking the glass case where the video games are kept. After several tries, they break the case with the sledgehammer; steal one video game and leave.
Police say the boys didn't steal anything else.
Now customers are left shaking their heads.
"It's not worth it. Not worth it at all," Cindy Gruenwald, another Target shopper, said.
Police are still looking for the suspects. If you have any information call Milwaukee police at 414.935.7360
"Honest to God, I think it's pretty sad," Davis added.
Target released this statement: "At Target, the safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. We take this situation very seriously and will continue to partner with local law enforcement."
