First and foremost, DONT LIE ABOUT WHERE YOU TRANSFERRED FROM. You will be caught, somebody will post it here, another person will confirm you're full of shit, then guess what, because you lied you're screwed, nobody is going to believe or trust you.
Man up, and don't lie.
Second, if you're going to post on an application, be more constructive past "He's a fag" or "He sucks" or "Failure" etc... That general attitude usually is the catalyst of unnecessary drama and isn't welcome elsewhere on the forums in the first place. If you want to start shit, you will be moderated, if you want to ignore warnings, you will be banned.
Third, all posts are final, if someone posts something about you and you don't like it then defend yourself with dignity. Your manners and actions will show you to be above any lies that have been said about you. If it's the truth, face the music. There will be no more reports about not liking something, our moderation staff will monitor the forum, any trolling attempts will be met with a ban.
And finally, the CrossServer Forum and it's subforums are now postcount increase free, due to an influx of people making useless posts. Because of this, and our inability to watch every thread perfectly, we have chosen to restrict this section specifically to business related discussion regarding background checks, cross server applications, and player warnings so that people do not feel inclined to post for the sake of posting. That means don't post things like "Hi", "Sorry to see you go" or anything else that doesn't contribute either in a good or bad way to the person being checked on. If you really feel inclined to tell someone that, feel free to use the PM button. Violators will be temp banned, perma-banned if it becomes constant, and any post violating the rules will be deleted. We are not going to retroactively pursue this rule, so any post made before 9:30 PM on 2/22/08, will not be considered into this new rule.
7/23/08 - Do not post in a thread for Admins/Mods to lock the topic simply because you got your information. Admins/Mods will choose if a topic needs to be locked, if you have received all the information you needed, simply post so in the topic you created. Once again this rule will not be pursued retroactively, so any post telling a mod to lock a thread in this section before 8:20am EST on 7/23/08 will not be counted. However if you find yourself doing this after this rule is put in place, it will result in a warning or a temp banning.
