besides that, if they're dropped off of NMs (regular or HNM) they're going to be severely overcamped and overpriced for well over a month.
maybe isnm? but i'm assuming there would be low level grips, and that would be weird if they dropped from isnm.
be cool if they added some rare/ex grips from the toau beastmen kings
Maybe beastmen who wield 2 handed weapons can drop them too? But if crafted, i'd guess Woodworking, possibly cloth or leathercraft

theyll spread them around all of the crafts nicely, but theres no reason for caster grips, elemental staves are balanced even if theyre a terrible way to live your life
How will thisaffect storetp? I've not got the values memorized but if someting that gave a 2 hander 100tp on the dot suddenly had a delay reduction they would have to somehow stack even more storetp in.
I'm quite excited about this update. The example image on the website shows that sword grip having a -3% two handed weapon delay. Going to be very interesting to see what they offer!
If they adjust DRG weaponskills too... :O

-3% weapon delay on a lvl 55 grip. I wonder will there just be a few at mid levels, where two-handers start to fall behind, or will there be many and they vary with level range?
Job adjustments...slight nerf to dual wield? I hope it's something more along the lines of new abilities, something to spice the game up you know?
Also, the -delay could work like desperate blows and not reduce tp.

There. One item that every Blm worth their salt will want, as well as 1 item that would increase the dmg dealt across all staves.
Or a:
Staff Grip: Enhances Staff attributes
I.e. Avatar Perp -1 more, 20% dmg instead of 15% on HQs... Basically a Grip that would turn a NQ staff into a HQ, and a HQ stave into a HQ2!

Gotta admit its utterly unexpected that blms are getting something outta this.
Makes alot of sense, but its utterly unexpected.
What's going to be amusing is if you have to have the weapon in your hands to get the Grip effect. Can see a bunch of mages with their back to a monster and staves in-hand to get the +MAB from their Grips.
