Moving WoW from PC to another PC

Yeah yeah FFXI blahblah, theorderls.com doesn't have a tech support forum so I came to this one lol.

Is there any quick kinda quick way to move wow to another pc without retarded install time? I've done it with FFXI and I would attempt doing it the same way but if it didn't work then instead of wasting 3hours of my time i'd be wasting 4, so I thought I'd ask.

I don't want to remove it off this PC either, just want it on both like I have with FF. I did a ton of google searches but they started out as things about wow movies and then the expansion, and my last search was bringing up stuff about windows that was completely irrelevant, didn't even include wow in the first 3 pages of links lol.

Just Re-install it.
Copy the WTF and Interface Folders and paste those into your new install folder.

Doesn't take long at all...

It's still a 4 disc install... takes long enough. Plus patches.

I suppose if you copied over all the directories straight over and then copied the registry entries then run Repair it will prob work.

Pretty much like you do with FFXI, but I was more looking for someone who has done it before and not just looking for assumptions since I mentioned in my OP that if it doesn't work then it adds even more time to the install.

Can always do what I did and purchase that 7-day trial DVD for a measly $2, comes with all the data you otherwise spend 4/5 CDs (depending on when you purchased the game) installing otherwise.

For the patches, last I checked (which was right now), the damn game still keeps the update exes in your folder......*deletes*, there we go, 800mb free'd up! Just copy them over or something.

You can run WoW from a network directory, so copy/pasting will work.
