You better practice if you wanna beat me.
Deep Fried Goodness!
It was quite good, not a touch on the fun of the first one, but still a great game.
Mareg
Bad use of save points ruined whatever fun/challange were in this game.
Although I havent finished the third, nor ever played lolXtreme, the first is still superior.
I swear I read a long time ago they were doing an MMO in the Grandia universe...perhaps it was scrapped or JP onry.
I liked it it, played on the DC. The music while dining is really catchy.
Wow, the voice acting is sooooooooooooo bad!
Yeah, my friends and I joke about it all the time when bad voice acting comes up... it's a reoccuring theme within our circle of friends.Originally Posted by Elcura

TBH, I enjoyed Grandia II more then Grandia I for some reason. Probably would have enjyoed Grandia I if I had played it on the Dreacast... but on the PS1 it was incredibly clunky and froze a lot.
I don't remember liking any of those game. There is worse, but I thought story was too cliché back then, compared to FF games, xenogears and the like.
I really liked Grandia 2 on DC, I bought the PS2 version later and just realized it was overall generic. I got as far as Melfice.. and Ryudo's past.
Original Grandia was leagues better, but 2 was still enjoyable. Series went downhill after that. Played Grandia on the PS port, and Grandia 2 on the Dreamcast. Dreamcast version of 2 didn't suffer from the same craptastic load times in the PS2 version either.
Dreamcast, oh Dreamcast, ye were ahead of your time and faded too quickly.
It was funny though, one of the best moves in the game on Grandia you could learn semi early if you had your earth and fire magic leveled "Gadwin's secret move: Dragon King Slice!"
Actually I just replayed Grandia 2 a few weeks ago on the PC. I played it on the PS2 when it first came out but out of my memory I actually think the PC version was better. Awesome game..sooo easy though. I was even able to use a savegame editor (after I finished the game of course) and beat the first few final fights at level 13..lol.
Skye, take flight! Holy shit horrible voices.
Yeah, alot of the voices were really goofy. The only voice I really liked was Millenia's.
Edit: Oh shit, just looked her up on wiki and found out she was Ariel in The Little Mermaid.
>_> I'll never look at Atlantis in KH2 the same way again
Lol seeing Millenia was Ariel, I decided to look up Elena on wiki, and she played Cinderella and Princess Aurora in Disney's house of mouse. What the fuck..
Oh, and Roan's voice was done by a girl. And she was a playboy. Rofl.
And Ryudo's voice was in Captain Planet and the Planeteer's. I'm laughing so hard.
>_> great, I'll never play grandia 2 the same way either
