Any hidden effect on Glory Crown? [Thar be spoiler here]

Wondering if there are any hidden effects on it? Perhaps food related like Opo but on Alzahbi foods?
You get Opo crown from Kazham and get the enhanced effect with Pamama which is purchasable from the NPC there.

Foods bought off the Alzahbi Coffee Shop last for 3 hours so testing can be quite a pain.

Go southwest to the tunnel heading south with the marids/kissers/pephredo, if the one near the Aydeewa zone is full anyway, there are a couple birds out there too.

Or go to Jeuno and use the taru outside of the BRD bar to remove food effects.

I suppose you could use the Hostel instead. There are some temporary foods in there to save a little gil, and it is close to the coffee shop and such.

my best guess is it's something stupid that you have to wear with a nyzul 100 weapon to get any effect out of. they said in this patch we'd see what they were good for (everyone assumed upgrading to a quasi relic) and no new items were added, just the ability to store the @#$%buckets. grasping at straws to say the least though, not even being close to reaching 100 on nyzul. alternatively, they could have delayed it, i could have misremembered, or they could actually have no use and this is just a big joke on us by SE. for now, i'm just glad it's more masculine than the opo crown.

Considiring the low-grade of the other rewards, i'm hedging bets it's just for show. Easy expansion=crap end rewards. Hope WotG is like old CoP for some +8 to all stats, ACC, ATK, Belt or Cape at the end.

What is recorded in DATs has nothing to do with what the items actually do, as has been evidenced by typos on several items, including Denali Jacket. Stats and hidden effects are all calculated server side.

What would be great about it, is if it made any "Assault" gear effects work anywhere! At least, to compromise with National Region effects, to make "Assault" effects work anywhere in Aht-Urghan.

well, they did add a stack of 'enchantment: TP+10' weapons in similar weaponclasses (not all of them, but quite a few considering) I'm entertaining the thought that they're related.

Do you mean like the one with Assault only refresh affect? Otherwise known as the rewards for ToAU completion? Yeah, dunno what other rings there are, so you might be a bit misinformed.
