Divisor Ring

Says on somepage that the latent for Divisor Ring is active when the level of your main job is divisible by 5. Does one get both the Accuracy and the Attack under that condition? Or is somepage completely wrong about the latent?

Also, if somepage is in fact correct (or somepage is wrong but the latent is still active 100% of the time on a 75 job, which makes this a pretty awesome ring, are there any good ways to complete the assault it comes from with a minimal number of people?

I've done this assault many times with RDM WAR WAR. You come close to the time limit but it can be done. RDM having fast pants also helps since they may have to grav kite some mobs if they resist sleep or wake up early. Always kill the BLM mobs first as they don't sleep.

I agree, somepage has the best search function. It also has the best complilation of items by what it does. If you want enfeeb gears, click enfeeb, and it's all there.

Searching off of stats or descriptions is far superior in ffxi.somepage.com =/
Their search is great for figuring out gear for a new job.

not going to doubt that it works but from my experience if you get the Slow graft and fight a BLM, can get really messy with the -ga spells.

RDM + 2 /NIN DD should always work if you don't screw up with the links.

For a high percentage of searches, I find the power search on ffxiah.com to meet most of my needs. From there, you can just click on the Wiki link to get all the latent details, etc. that you would need.

Essentially, I just use ffxiah.com as my wiki search tool. Somepage is still better if you need to find all hand pieces between level 50-60 with a positive DEX effect for your Hume Samurai... but I rarely have search needs which are that precise.

if you can get away with it, having someone /smn is a good way to speed the pulls up a bit. when I do this I'm on whm/smn as the only healer usually.

To be fair, its a very good Ridill War and BB MNK I trio with. Between storm fife, refresh cloak, sanction refresh and wearing almost all mp gear, it's pretty doable to main heal a lot of the assaults we do on bard, but mostly because the melee's I go with have excellent tanking skills. There have definitely been some close calls with getting screwed with grafts though.

THF is very useful as a DD for this assault because you can hide pull the lamias, effectively removing any danger from the assault.

Used to do this as NIN, BLU and WHM. Took a few runs before we managed to get it down in 30 minutes and it's always tight on time, but any 2 decent DD + Mage could do it. BLU's great for the Attack- Accuracy- graft because our spells get a huge accuracy boost and attack does absolutely nothing for them.
