XBOX360 Achievments for relic holders

Any relic holders on the 360 try to unlock the achievement for getting a relic? I tried to hop on the other day while updating all my consoles with XI on it, with no luck. Its listed as a 40 point achievment online but I wasn't giving me the option.

Maybe it was confused with 2 relics on the toon.

I don't think thats the case. I wasn't on my xbox when i beat CoP or hit 75 with either job, but was able to unlock all of those. You have to talk to one of those NPC's in order for it to unlock though.

Correctamundo, you've got to go talk to some NPC which then gives you the achievement.

The "Some NPC" would be any bard used to give you titles.

However.....it sounds like tekki knows about it, just not getting the option like he should from the bard NPC. Bug that no one has noticed yet maybe?

Is atleast one of the two relic weapons fully upgraded?
I don't think you get the points just for pocessing one.

FFXI goes for the highest possible achivement, in the relics case that would be the final relic stage.

tekki has had two relics (aegis and excalibur) totally unlocked for a while now.

Is it safe to assume you have said relic items equipped when you talk to the bard? Maybe you should only equip one at a time?

Trade your relic to a title bard and they will take it in exchange for the achievement.

i kinda chuckled at this one... I only have one job XD

I completed most of my achievements on my ps2/PC and then later unlocked them on my XB360.

Oh and for another relic? If I ever get a D ring.... maybe......

Ill try again tomorrow. If not, should I call a GM or email their support team? When it comes to "This sheet is broke" I didn't know if GMs care or just redirect.

I remember reading something about this ages ago. I'd say maybe it's bugged and only certain weapons get it, but I think I remember seeing Xavier mention he got it in some thread and (afaik) he only has Aegis. It doesn't hurt to call a GM about it but I can't see them or SE support team doing anything about it.

Several months ago someone with Gjallarhorn was asking about this over on the xbox.com ffxi forum. He wasn't able to get the achievement, and as far as I know never did. He just chalked it up horn not being a "weapon" and gave up. Seems there are other broken achievements as well from what I've heard. ToAU mission achievement wasn't working until last night, must have ninja fixed it.

I'd try sending a message to SE support through POL and maybe they'll fix it. Its more internal to the game, Microsoft just sets up the system, so I don't think Xbox support would be any help. Could also try a GM, but we all know how worthless they are.

One job? What does that have to do with it? I was suggesting only equipping one and talking to the bard based on this:

As far as I know the 100 level craft one is broken too, I unlocked it with my highest craft being 60 Smithing awhile back. I think it gives it to you if you have a total of 100 levels spread among all 3 crafts. I still need to go unlock my ones for 75 BRD and RoZ/CoP/AN completion!
