Oh wait! This is the wrong kind of forum! Anyway, figured I'd start a thread for people to ask the opinion of other Pankration fans to one-over their monsters and give helpful criticism. Or, when faced with a difficult decision with innate abilities on their soul reflectors, can seek help from the illustrious BG forums.

In example (I didn't make the thread to ask this, no way)

I went out snapping some wamouras, and got two 'decent' innate bonuses.
Attack Bonus (9) on one Wamoura (Wamoura A)
and Attack+15% on another Wamoura (Wamoura B)

Which Wamoura should I raise? Or should I go out and try for a Wamoura C?

I would raise the one with <Attack Bonus>. Once it's skill is high enough, it should surpass the static 15% from the other. Any suggestions for my pet? (Check Sig) Thinking of getting rid of everything except Job Trait: MNK and adding either Instant Dread Spikes or Additional Light Damage.

Edit: Does Magic Attack +15% effect En- spells?

What does main job DRG offer... does the mob actually use "jump" :O?

Yeah I'm kinda curious why you choose Dragoon too. Low level attack bonus and high level accuracy bonus?

That's exactly it, I wanted to experiment and see if it Jumps. I'm trying to think of the long run options.

I was going to try Main Job: SAM (with auto regain it wold be sexy, but no dice, would store TP be worth it instead?)

People keep misinterpreting...

Jump is not a job trait.

DRG: Attack Bonus, Accuracy Bonus, Dragon Killer, etc
RDM: Fast Cast, Magic Attack Bonus, Resist Petrify, etc
WAR: Double Attack, Defense Bonus, Attack Bonus, Resist Virus, etc
DRK: Resist Paralyze, Attack Bonus, Arcana Killer, etc
BST: All Killer, Resist Slow, etc
BRD: Resist Silence

Damage Resistance Bonus on my Wamouracampa is noticable, when fighting a ram several levels higher than me it will still only do 15~20 damage (considering it did 30-40 to other opponents my level) Of course again, my wamouracampa is a paladin

Assuming I have a coeurl with no innates, would it be better to give it an enspell(47) FP, or build it for evasion? Main job THF of course. Fitting in triple attack would be nice but I seriously doubt it will work with anything I choose.

To Rocl; Always go with the <xxx bonus> over <xxx +15%> skills. The Bonus ones will level up and be stronger very quickly.

Djriceyes; I would prolly drop the Crits and STR and add an en-spell or something, maybe even an attack bonus or crit bonus. En-spells seen very strong unless it just happens to be fighting one of the few mobs who resist that element. The +xx numbers stats are kinda weak compared to the Bonus ones though.

Personally I'm trying to find a second pet while I work on my first for Jettons. My Lv22 Taurus had no Inate stats but it still rapes and is doing better then any of the new mobs I found and tried~

I was thinking of trying for Damage Resistance +15%, since he takes 2x normal damage, but I'm not sure.
Thinking about taking out DRK traits, but not sure.

Also, should I bother adding any Magic Abilities to it?
It uses Drain A lot, maybe I should try to strengthen it?

I still think my Ahriman will be good.... but it takes so fucking long to fucking do anything in the pit. Went from level 5-7 the past 2 days.

Naw I haven't seen him cast drain..... dies too fast.

I have 12 free FP still I'll probably wait to put on black Magic scrolls until he gains more levels and more base FP. have just the plate waiting for him.

If it can use that job innately you don't seem to need the scrolls, I had a Qutrub also started as BLM and casted right off, the I changed it to DRK and it's spells adjusted accordingly.

I think its just to give them all Scrolls, as some Mobs won't cast every BLM spell.

Skeletons won't cast Blaze Spikes, Give em BLM scrolls and they would.
