The link was removed from the Main Page of wiki.ffxiclopedia.org (lol,) but that doesn't mean we can't spread it to the people that don't read BG. ('3'

As everyone is no doubt aware, last month FFXIClopedia announced that they would be joining Wikia in an effort to continue their goal of profiting off of their extensive community. As they previously stated, this came about only after many long nights weighing all of their checkbooks. They are truly excited about the move. Based on their preview of how the site will look on Wikia, they think everyone will find that this is really going be a nice change with a lot of new advertisements that they would not have been able to deliver without the Wikia technology. While the transition was in large part due them being paid off by Wikia, obviously they will also have the advantage of not needing to figure out how to pay for the hosting charges after they spent all the fundraiser on personal expenses. The 2007 fundraiser was a huge success. Together they raised $9,372.02 of their $12,000 goal. The community did an incredible job pulling together. We have used $9,372 of the $9,372, thus leaving $0 remaining (see below for the juicy details). So the question becomes, what really happened?
Addressing the fundraiser money discrepancy, these screenshots should bring some interesting details to light:
Now, I can all imagine the look of shock on your faces as you realize, "Hey! They lied about the price of the diamond mousepads!" Well, I'm afraid to say that their heinous crimes do not stop there.
I'm going to begin this with a backstory that explains something some FFXIClopedia users might already be familiar with. Wikia has approached FFXIClopedia several times about moving to their services: something that Ganiman has steadfastly refused. Ganiman's explanation for his decision was that Wikia couldn't offer FFXIClopedia everything it needed (forums, IRC.) However, the following screenshots suggest a different reason:
The following screenshot doesn't really have anything to do with the Wikia buyout, but it's certainly a good show of character:
I'm sure by now you're all wondering, "why the sudden change of heart?" I'm sure you all saw this coming:
You're going to need to know the following for the next set of screenshots:
Chris Manigan: Ganiman (Haha, very clever, get it!?)
Brook Rolka: Mierin
Joel Hankin: Gahoo
Gil: Wikia rep.
But wait, there's more! Addressing the recent announcement about the fundraiser and its' leftover funds:
And now, what I'm sure everyone's been waiting for: How much were they paid?
Pretty impressive figure, right? Well, no, but this is (I suppose
Sidenote:
Teletexo is a startup company of Ganiman's. They recently worked out a contract with Square-Enix to provide monthly "reports" about the opinions of the community (they do so by polling FFXIClopedia users

Closing notes:
Oops!
You do now, bitches.
