If anything, the writers strike may ensure this show lives. The strike is also affecting new material for pilots, so it would be easier to expand on an existing storyline and characters than it would be to create a new one.

Besides, after they escape, Scofield may want revenge for Sarah's death and try to take down The Company. That in itself could be another season or two, or more.

He put it in earlier when they (Mahone and Whistler) were struggling to keep the structure stable and (apparently) pulled it out before he opened the door for Sammy. Mahone knew, which was why he said it doesn't get any easier (he meant killing).

All I know is, not knowing what is in that briefcase is driving me crazy. That is probably the key to Whistler's true identity, I don't believe much of the story that he told Michael and Mahone in the tunnel. I'd put my money on him being some sort of assassin. Idk though, the Company and it's goals are a mystery to me and I hope that there is a 4th season that delves into that more.

I don't think he's an assassin. I've seen him fight, and Mahone has WAY more bad-ass moves than he does. Unless he was holding back. I bet the only thing that is in that case is money.

Wow that episode was insane. It sucks that Sucre got caught thanks to fucking T-bag, anyone see the previews for the season finale next week where the guards at Sona are burying Sucre alive? What an odd twist of events, the season finale should be really good. Everyones paths are intertwined and just good. Whistler ditching Michael and Lincoln, Lincoln 1 second away from blowing Mahone's brains out, the Kid and his dad running into a Sona road block....

The funniest part was when Lincoln set up the speakers that simulated gun shots when they were barricaded inside the house and Gretchen calls him to say "Nice trick with the gun shots and the boom box, where'd you learn that from, Home Alone?" In which Linc replied "Yeah, well you fell for it Bitch".

I wonder where Michael is going to hide now that Panama AND the US want him in jail, I doubt we'll get that answer next week but it looks like the exchange will happen, who the hell knows how they get Whistler back but we'll see I guess.
