Slowdance - Slows enemy 40% - stacks with Elegy and SLOW2

These are from X-2, but they would be pretty cool in XI:

* Darkness Dance: While the songstress is dancing, all enemies are effected by darkness.
* Samba of Silence: The Samba of Silence inflicts silence on all enemies.
* MP Mambo: While this is performed by a Songstress, all allies can use MP freely at no cost.
* Magical Masque: While performed, the party is protected against magical attacks.
* Sleepy Shuffle: This dance will lull enemies to sleep.
* Carnival Cancan: This dance allows all party members to have double their normal amount of HP.
* Slow Dance: This has a very predictable effect of inflicting Slow all enemies.
* Brakedance: This dance encourages all enemies to take a break, in a sense, and inflicts stop upon them.
* Jitterbug: This dance is only available to characters who have access to Slow Dance. Jitterbug has the opposite effect though, and grants haste to all allies while sung.
* Dirty Dancing: This dance, available to characters who have learned the Carnival Cancan, will cause the party to hit with critical hits while in effect.

According to the thread on Famitsu, the details about the screenshot and the new job are going to be posted on the 22nd (Japan time so more likely Friday night for us in America). Otherwise the thread just talks about the release information/price for the expansion discs.

They just say the expansion is coming out 11/22, you can buy this, this and this set of CDs (like Vana'diel collection)

and they showed a video that previews the new job but didn't name it. JP are speculating everything from ??? (Dancer) to ???? (Flower Mage) I'm sure most of us can guess it'll be a Dancer-type class.

Details on 9/22 should be more exciting. That's the first public day of TGS

PS: and for the love of GOD I hope the dances aren't lame and look like they were made by serious Poindexter's who go "hyuck hyuck this dance is so uber cool" like the rthymless dorks who animated the WOW dance emotes. Uughh..

In Tactis, Bards ONLY buffed the party and Dancers ONLY debuffed the enemies. Bards could only be Male and Dancers Female.

I'm thinking it will be a Bard that is focused more on debuffs with a few party buffs. Otherwise we really already have everything a Dancer would do, kind of a pointless job to add imo but we'll see how it turns out.
