Carolina just signed 800 year old Vinny Teste-fucking-Verde. Delhomme is out for the season thanks to needed Tommy John surgery on his elbow, but Vinny? Seriously, wtf? He makes Favre look like a spring chicken. We would be better served had we signed Kelly, Stabler or fucking Terry Bradshaw as a back up.

Buffalo News reports that 111 people were arrested at Monday Night Football. 46 others were denied entry at the gate for either not having their ticket, being too intoxicated, or a combination of both.

Given that Ralph Wilson Stadium (aka "The Ralph") can hold 73,000, I thought this statistic was pretty damn acceptable by law enforcement standards, but the newspaper made it out to seem like it was a nightmare. I guess when you measure how long it takes to book people and confine/transport them it makes sense.

I don't know wether to drive to John Fox's house and castrate him...or just blow the stadium up.

Going to use this thread since Week 6 picks aren't up yet, and FF thread is down a ways.

    I was offered a trade:

His Marion Barber III and Derrick Ward for my Larry Johnson and Ron Dayne.

I'm considering this even though LJ goes up against Cincy's defense this week and Barber is sharing the load against the Pats.

    Thoughts, advice?

QFT, Denver's offense is so overrated its mind-bogling.

I wouldn't do it. LJ's value is extremely low right now, and you'd be selling him for a back thats in a RBBC (Barber) and Ward who will soon take the backseat to Jacobs. After week 2 or 3, I thought Barber was going to be given the starting job, but then we saw Julius Jones get a goalline touchdown. I hate Ron Dayne, but still, I think you're best served just hanging on to LJ. The passing game has been decent these past two weeks, so that might mean Johnson starts getting more than 1 or 2 yards per carry.
