The synopsis that was posted a few months ago had me slightly skeptical about how the adaptation was gonna be. Can't say as I'm not looking forward to it, though some of the elements shown there are pushing the story, albeit for a better movie.
The book itself and the sequel, Reflex, were both rather good IMO, as well as Gould's other novels (Wild Side, Helm, and Blind Waves)...should be nice to see.
