Hmm, would you recommend taking up fishing if you already have a craft at 100 and don't want to delevel it for WW for LuShang fixing after I reach the higher levels of fishing? I do like fishing so far but not if it becomes an incredible hassle to run to Rabao every time it breaks. This is assuming I want to hit level 100 Fishing.

Unless you plan on going for Ebisu, fishing can easily be taken to 100 without fishing anything that will break your rod

@96 you might as well meatball on ferry, titanicus bite like crazy and ryugus give you a chance of a nice payout. I got 98-100 in few days jus riding ferry out and no offence but by 96 you should realise how random and rare skillups can be.

If you are fishing in Nashmau for anything but profit, go elsewhere. If you don't have a lot of time to hang out and fish, there are probably quicker ways to target just fish that will skill you up. Skillups in Nashmau slow down a LOT after 86. After 96 (taking a Black Sole detour), I plan on going back to Nashamu too. But then again, I'm not sprinting to 100. I just like the relaxed atmosphere in Nashmau.

I've yet to get a skill up off a Pterygotus.

Dil in Talacca Cove, sure, I'll get a skill up once in a blue moon, but Pterygotus? My chances of getting a skill up off a Pterygotus are probably lower than my chances of hitting Texas lottery jackpot.

Looks like you should be able to catch them at any seaside aside from the map where you zone in Talacca Cove

I usually fish them at (I-11), using the entrance at (I-6) in Caedarva. Use a sinking minnow. They bite fairly frequently.
