I know it may be a bit early to start this thread, but with the surrounding hype regarding the teaser trailer coming out tomorrow, I figure it's time to fire up the speculation wagon.

To those who can't wait for tomorrow, the trailer is already out on torrents. Look for 24.Day.7.Preview.WS.PDTV.XviD-SFM. To be honest, I'm not really sure what to think of the preview... I hope they explain [what happens] well. =(

I don't know if I'm looking forward to this season, the last one was a complete mess. I remember reading that the writers scrapped their storyline half way through it while working on season 7, so hopefully they get their act together.

24 is most def. my favourite show on TV right now. Season 6 was ok... but nothing can top Season 3. That entire season was amazing, I sat down in my room with it on DVD and didn't leave until it was over. If that could pull of another season of similiar calibre, I'd be highly impressed, but I doubt they can. Remains to be seen, I guess.

I miss Tony as much as the next person, but that seems odd. I daresay just kick Chloe off already, because as annoying as she is... you learn to love her. I'm waiting for the day when her and Jack just screw like rabbits in a holding cell or something. She wants him so bad. Although, if we're gonna see any sex happening, bring back Michele and have her and Elisha Cuthbert (sp?) have a lesbian makeout scene.

In any case, I must find this trailer now.

Tony Almeida was a badass, but he is also definitely a dead badass.

Holding my breath for this season. My one hope is that the producers actually admit that the series was getting out of control, so hopefully all the changes they promised will bring it back in check.

He died, basically. He watched Michele die in his arms, well, she was probably already dead at that point. But yeah they killed off Tony, Michele and President Palmer (the first) all in one swoop at the beginning of the season. And that wasn't even last season, was it? Wasn't it season 5? I can't remember now.

How did they show him dying though, for him to be alive and apparently not disfigured was it gunshots or something?

I dont remember them physically showing his death. They said it though.

They were in CTU and holding some guy, I think it was Jack's teacher? Anyway there was a needle filled with poison or deadly stuff of some kind, the bad guy wrestled the needle away from Tony and stabbed him in the heart and injected it. If I'm remembering right.

Tony was sealed inside CTU Medical, with Christopher Henderson, when the terrorists released the Sentox nerve gas in the building, killing approximately 40% of the staff. Enraged and feeling he has nothing left to live for, Tony decides to kill Henderson. At 7:59 on day 5, whilst Tony has second thoughts about killing Christopher Henderson for killing his beloved Michelle, Henderson awakes from his comatose state and stabs Tony with an overdose of hyoscine-pentothal (Agent Rick Burke had been using the drug to try to get Henderson to talk). Henderson then escapes the building. Jack rushes in and holds Tony in his arms. His last words before 8:00 were "She's gone, Jack." It was then assumed that Almeida was dead but it was recently confirmed that he is indeed living. On Fox's official website (http://fox.com/24/profiles/season5/ta.htm), it says that Tony is dead.
