Necropolis Escort Quest

I used to try and do this every week for the exp scroll, for either a buffer on a job I don't want to exp, or a job that won't get invites. Anyway, I haven't been able to do it for a few weeks and tried to do it today. Whenever I would zone it, I would get the appropriate cut-scene with the NPC and it would tell me it was time to begin. However every time the cut-scene would end, it would immediately say that I lost sight of her when she never even appeared. I tried zoning in and out, logging, etc and each time the same thing would happen. Anybody else, that does this, have any problems?

Never heard of this bug myself, but if logging/etc. didn't work, you could go cancel and restart the quest and see if that does anything. Otherwise just try your luck at submitting a bug report and see if that gets you anywhere.

I've never heard of anyone experiencing that issue, however this topic made me think about a doubt I had for a while regarding Cralwers' Nest escort quest. Is it possible that for some reason they removed the path that leads to the harder mobs like Knight Crawlers and Crawler Hunters? It would be the pink path (Harder) on this map:

I believe this because I use to solo it weekly, but haven't seen the NPC choosing that way for several months.

i got the knight crawler path in CN just last week

@OP : try taking another person with you and have them zone in first so they get the cs and you can just zone in after them

Nope. My group got the crawler hunter path last week, too.

I got the Helm Beetle/Knight Clawrar path last recently when I was soloing it. Really it's not that hard for me, since I just train all of the EP stuff and sleepga it at the end. Yay Phalanx and Stoneskin!

I never said it was hard, just that it's a bit harder than the other one because it requires more attention. I was just confused that the NPC hasn't choosed that way for me in about 6 months...

Sleeping your way on escorts really is the fastest choice, that also applies to the Sea ones.

War/Bst, run ahead, charm, fight, train, leave, lather, rinse, repeat.

Really easy, even with lol45 Bst sub and the Helm path (though occasionally mischarms make that one a little bit nastier) after watching Bsts do it a few times, I didn't realise anyone would do it a different way for a while. >.>
