Green Screen of Death?

I recently purchased a new graphics card, and it worked fine the first day.

I awakened this morning, though, to discover an obnoxious green tint layered through out my monitor.

I figured I might have to adjust the RBG settings but I'm not having any luck, though, when I press the "Auto-Configure" button on my monitor, the colors return to their previous, normal setting (it only sustains this for a mere second though).

So, any suggestions?

I got an 8800 Nvidia GTS 320 Mb graphics card and an AL1916 monitor if it matters at all.

As for the Video card, quickly RMA it and get a 8800GT for less!!

What they want is the maximum wattage of the power supply, if you look where the main power plug plugs into the back of the computer, open up the computer and look at that box inside, there should be a sticker on it that would say the wattage. On a system that low you probably have some crappy wattage like 180 or 230 watts and you need to get a more powerful power supply.

The GTS and GTX series needed a good amount of power, so I'd say I probably wouldn't even attempt it on a power supply less than 400w, 500w is probably more realistic. It varies on your other hardware, some cpus need more wattage than others, more drives need power, number of internal fans, etc.

Amperage is correct. I had a 550w power supply which is more then required for the 8800gts but afterwards I found out it was frequently restarting due to the 12v rails not providing enough amps, fell short about 6 amps of the minimum.

Actually after reading my psu had 2 12v rails, one at 20amps and another at 18amps. But still wasn't enough for a gts.
