Xbox 360 - Relic Weapon achievement

Any relic holders have a clue on how unlock this achievement? I search everywhere, gm and playonline suport also doesn´t know. If anyone have a relic and plays on 360, please give some advice, I apreciate ^^

If I remember correctly from a previous topic on this subject, you have to talk to a bard NPC (changes titles for you) to unlock achievements on the 360

Relic achievement doesn't work.

Ironically, most relics don't either.

is it possible you need to re-view the cutscene at the end w/ a goblin footprint? most achievements come with titles, but i don't remember any relic coming w/ a title. merely a thought, not based on evidence. *skulks back to corner*

lv 75 dont gives you a title and theres 18 achievements of lv 75, the gob only speak what he spoke at the start of the quest, and the blank target on the relic doesnt do anything.

Getting your first job to 75 should give you a lot more points, IMO. That's a very large achievement IMO. After that, getting more jobs to 75 isn't very difficult. I'd also like to see achievements for the major milestones of the game (i.e. the Genkais, etc.).

So something that takes like less than an hour gives you almost twice the points as a 75 job in FF? lol

The issue is that every commercially released game for the XBox360 has a total of 1000 points worth of achievements, and it's up to the game designers to decide how that 1000 gets split up. Most of the games have a few really easy ones at the start to give the players some incentive to keep playing.

So think about how long it would take to get all 1000 points for FFXI. That would involve every job to 75, a craft to 100, and a relic weapon (and a bunch of other stuff you'd probably get anyway if you had those). So five years later, you'd have all 1000 points. Or you could go play Blue Dragon like I did and get 975/1000 in three weeks (still need that last 25 pointer). It's never going to be fair, but every game on the XBox has to have the achievements.

In addition, while DLC and Expansions are allowed to have additional achievements, multiple games in 1 box are not.

Hence, FFXI/RoZ/CoP/ToaU are worth 1000 points, same as how the Orange Box (HL2, Ep1, Ep2, Portal, TF2) are worth 1000 points...but Beautiful Katamari is worth something like 1200 points (1000 + 200 for the DLC).

WotG will probably add 200 or 1000 more points for whatever it's worth. I'm not sure how expansion achievements are handled, to be honest.

At any rate, I like that FFXIs achievements are a) actual achievements, b) not stupid (talk to your moogle the first time! use the AH 1 time!), and c) fairly varied. The only thing I absolutely hate about them is that they are all "secret" achivements so you can't even show the dumb things off!
