I was talking mostly about old Quadav NM Crystal war isn't that far in the past, and some quadav NM in there can be one shotted atm. I'm going to assume they job changed and we fought them on their lowbie job.Originally Posted by Lordwafik

about a dozen "Crimson Wolf Esquire"s just ran past me in Batallia.
White-named elvaans in bronze plate with a campaign icon next to their name.
If you add the fact that turtles/Quadav live a long time (and thus 20 years is nothing), it makes even less sense. >_>Originally Posted by Kaylia
Only logical thing I can think of is crappier equipment now or injuries from the war.
In Eldieme, One-Eyed Gwajboj and a bunch of Gutrender Troopers just ambushed a bunch of Scarlet Boar Esquires and a PLD (with two swords and the ability to cast tier IV/aga III nukes) named Ashmea B Greinner.
Ashmea is female and talks about her father when she casts or WS's.
The Orcs all have Counterstance even though they're PLDs and the Esquires use polearms with WS up to Skewer.
The Orcs had their asses handed to them, but Campaign is still active.
edit: I was following a pack of Clan Longtooth Pillagers (whose names are so long it's shortened to "Pillage" above their heads) lead by Vatgit and for some reason they all Warped.
zone into eldieme to see an assload of carcasses
Has Campaign been as laggy as Beseiged so far? Have nations been losing due to poor attendance? If a nation loses Campaign, what do you have to do to set things straight (WotG equivalent of taking back the AC)? Can important NPCs (quest givers, etc.) be taken hostage during Campaign until someone saves them?
This is irritating, we've been killing wave after wave of orcs with no real change to the fortifications, and we need campaign over for the Scholar NPC to pop. How do you make it end? It's been almost 2 hours...

Beseiged originally had no time limit, right? It just went on until certain criteria were met for retreat/capture? Maybe the same is happening here. There might be a certain criteria for forcing a retreat, or losing, but you're in an endless stalemate. And if you deliberately lose just to end Campaign, your scholar NPC might not come back!
Maybe you need to attack their fortress to make them stop?Originally Posted by Kenai
I found a campaign arbiter standing on top of the wall outside Rolanberry.
Also, campaign seems to stop and start randomly. I really have no advice to give you on how to make it stop in a zone whose NPCs you need other than to wait it out.
Gnoles joined the party!
Sweet, and it ended as soon as that group of mobs died!
It started back up again extremely quickly... I hope this isn't the norm, or it's going to be a pain getting things done, with npcs despawning.
The current system is ridiculous. They need to put the npcs in a safe room or cut back on the campaign seiges happening 55 minutes out of every hour.
So no real info as to how we go about starting like solo-campaign mission or w/e?
Figured this belonged here too.

The quartermaster like 3 steps behind you. >_>
The only people in the vicinity of the person who gave me the Campaign Ops is a Hume M in Nobles Tunic offering Rank Evaluation, The NPC who tells you what Freelances and Campaign Ops are, the Mithra Morale person, and a C.A., plus 2-3 other NPCs who don't do anything but say stuff when I talk to them. No one here is called Quartermaster or says anything about being one.
