We went BLU BLU PLD WHM.
As WHM I was told to buff, erase and cure, sometimes wake up.
Everyone goes to the upper deck. PLD pulls mobs, BLUs rape mobs. Rinse and repeat.

I forgot DNC existed! I haven't used mine for anything in 2 months or more now.
IMO Dnc needs a dance called "Totentaz (sp)" Dance of the Dead, and make it.... and it'd be like atleast Raise II (or III maybe) and Instant cast (since dances are job abilities) w/ a lenghty recast (3-5 mins). There's something I've been wanting to say, not sure if anyone else thought of it, maybe it'll become a group 2 merrit ability for DNC.
Reraise Dance that is subbable and I'll suck off the developer who puts it in.
Raise 1 costing 150 TP and subbable and I'll be pretty happy.
I really wish Dnc had a dispel, or if I could trade Desperate Flourish for Violent Flourish I'd be happy, grav is nice in an "oh shit, gotta take this mob elsewhere" situation, Stun is nice all the time and could keep me from having to take it elsewhere + hold more hate.
Maybe they'll give it meritable Regain, caps of 10 per merit, walking around with 50 TP constantly would make Dnc a lot more useful.
I would like an ability that aids in Step. I was thinking of a job ability that would let you either:
a) use steps immediately w/o any recast time for a period of 1 min but one FM gained each time
b) Use steps without any TP and recast timer for a period of 1 min but no FMs gained
c) Improve the power of steps for 1 min.
The second one would be awesome if it was "Stance that reduces melee attack speed, but allows the use of steps without TP, and gain normal or double FM's".
Make a change "Steps can be used without being engaged", or just drop steps with your back to the mob.
Ta da, I just fixed Dnc and made it actually useful in a lot of scenarios where you don't want to feed TP to things.
TPless step (think up some name for the ability, make it a stance... Improvisation!) > FM to 5 > Reverse Flourish > TP step to 5 > Reverse Flourish > Curebomb without feeding TP > Winnar!
I find it odd how the game and lore suggest different types of dancing yet there is no such ability currently for dancers. I would like to see DNC being a premier debuffer ala RDM (and maybe a better stun/gravity user if those flourishes were improved) on big NMs in the future. Steps just aren't powerful enough, even for zergs.
Dancer making me sad. ;; it's 73 now and I enjoy it a lot, but I know once I hit 75 I'll barely get to use it outside merits/random shit XD
I agree though if the steps were a lot more powerful, it might help dnc become more useful.
You know what I want to see out of DNC to make them more useful in endgame? I'd like it if their sambas worked for everyone attacking a monster affected by the daze, not just the people in-party. IIRC, one DNC was supposed to be able to support entire armies, not just parties of six. Yes, this would be crazy on Campaign or Besieged, but invaluable for Limbus, Dynamis, Salvage, and Einherjar.
