A quick search of Taj's ffxi.compels.us has DNC wielding Joyeuse (with fanfest info pegging it at low skill), and a limited selection of daggers. DNC does not simply get all daggers and that includes not getting a number of notables (beestinger, hornetneedle, blau, and a few others I was quite surprised at).

I had a lot of fun playing DNC. I'm a front line job lover (can't stand playing mage jobs) so the whole concept is just awesome to me.

Healing, Hasting, Enfeebling, Provoking...this job has a lot to it. I could see /THF, /SAM, or maybe /NIN for viable playstyles. Too bad it gets a crappy weapon selection.

really hope you can have more the one dance up at a time seems kinda silly that you cant. I cant understand not having aspir/drain samba up at the same time but to have to choose between drain/aspir and the haste dance seem pretty lame. same with Debuffs dance.

No Blau Dolch is a dissapointment, i seriously dont know why SE enjoys shafting the new jobs on anything remotely good. Its always been the downfall of any new jobs.

Dnc doesn't seem have access to any sky/homam/salvage gear, but has basic melee gear (unlike pup) like scorpion harness, assault jerkin, dusk, jaridah, amemet mantle, and foragers mantle. Can also use pahluwan gear from assault and denali from nyzle.

EDIT: Can't use any abjuration gear. No access to robes/cloaks/mage stuff for backup healing either, no verm, no errant, etc.
