Capping Shield skill

Without equipment I'm sitting @ 228. I leveled PLD back in the day when OMG SHIELD SKILL was like OMG PARRY SKILL UP.

After getting my ass fucking owned by another PLD/NIN @ ultima in keeping shadows, I wanna get this up there more than I have it. I can hit 246 with equip, so my question is : where would be a good place to go with this? The only time I get skill ups anymore is in Dynamis, and thats hardly equivalent to getting this done efficiently. All I've been able to find is where to go @ 260+, so suggestions are appreciated. :D

Just go PLD/RDM and let Puks in the Den Of Rancor beat on you all day.

Enter from Yhoator Jungle, just north of the Outpost, pull them to the zone and either kill them or let them hit you until you have to zone, rinse and repeat.

This should get you to 260-270 pretty quickly, after that they CAN cap you, I just did the same thing on Groundskeepers in Sky though, seemed to skillup a bit faster on them.

Can do chigoes to the NE of Nashmau and NW of the Azouph isle staging point. Its in a tunnel somewhat near the Arrapago reef entrance. Get Phalanx up and your golden. These will take you up to lvl 69 or so.
