Current Known Issues (Nov. 20)+All Worlds Emergency Maintena

Since the implementation of the latest version update on Nov. 19, 2007, we have confirmed the following issues. Investigation and recovery work is currently underway.

- Effect of Reraise wears off when a player is KO'd in level-restricted areas.

- FINAL FANTASY XI may slow down when USB keyboard or USB mouse is connected(Windows only).

At the following time, we will be performing maintenance on all Worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

Maintenance operations will delete any reservations for Pankration matches. Players who are scheduled to participate in Pankration matches, those who will enter Assault, Salvage or Einherjar areas, or those who will participate in Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance, we ask that you please wait until maintenance is complete before engaging in these activities. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

I´d just like to see people being able to play without low frame rate. And of course
that Reraise crap. Wondering what they do to the code when stuff like

Compared to most games when dealing with an expansion update SE is about on par or better than most MMO's.

To be honest, a two hour maint - if they stand a chance of fixing something, I can live with it. Better that than die cause of lag.

I had no trouble at all with the windower. I actually like it. Now the crappy 2H damage (thank god I have merits in blue magic) is something I really don't want to bother meriting SAM to max for... not when there are other jobs to level and no time to level them.

They aren't psychic, and they don't do open beta's on new content. I actually prefer no open beta's on new content, so I will take the relatively limited downtime. We can debate open beta's on new content if you want, but honestly thats more of a preference thing.
