Favorite Old-School RPG Music of all time?

What's your favorite all-time old school rpg song? Can be anything from SNES RPGs, to Genesis, anything N64 and before. If you can post a stream of it, or have it available for download, that'll be great.

icybrian.com is like one of the very first page I visited on the net, when I was looking for chrono trigger walkthrought on Yahoo.com. That's also where I discovered the high quality sound format, midi. Good old time.


Favorite song? Probably something from chrono trigger? The intro song was epic, but Ayla/Robo/chrono song werent bad either. FF4/FF6 had some great song too.
Not to forget Castlevania 2's theme.

There are a bunch of them, but the most memorable from the top of my head are:

Chrono Trigger, hands down best game ever created: Fantastic story, memorable characters, music, battle system, I can go on and on.

Wild Arms, damn I remember playing this when I was a kid haha and who doesn't remember Zed? >_>

I actually really like the final fantasy arpeggio that scales up and down. i think it's extremely relaxing and if you look it up on youtube you can find some incredible expressions of it on the piano.

The crystal rooms in final fantasy 2/4 in particular etc...

when i get home from work and have speakers i'll find one on youtube and link it...no speakers at work

personally I think that the final fantasy series has produced the best music of any video games ever, but that's just my opinion. There's a ton more but these are a few that really caught my attention when i was looking around youtube.

FF has good music because of Uematsu... the ones where he didn't participate in were pretty boring (FF12 was horrible imo but that's just me..)

I like the work that other SE dude did on the Kingdom Hearts series, and also whoever did the Xenosaga 3 music (different than the first 2 games in the series I believe..) is a genius as well.
