Angelstone/Deathstone rewards from new Sandy Quest

Apparently after you sign up at Sandy, quests are open to you to clear. First quest rewards you Deathstone, the 2nd quest in the series rewards you Angelstone. Guess that makes it much easier to get Gobbiebags faster :D I'll get the NPC name when able, I don't have the expansion yet, but a friend cleared both quests last night with ease. It's in South Sandy (S) so shouldn't be hard to find.

Yes and no. Yes, they have similar quests. No, the rewards are completely different. This has been and is mentioned already in both the quest and mission thread on WOTG.

Are you sure you can do all the other quests? I did all my quests for Windy, got my Cait Sith cutscene and went off to Sandy and Bastok to find that I could only do the second quest for each nation ('Gifts of the Griffon' and 'Better Part of Valor'). From what I've read others have had the same experience, so yes you can get the Deathstone even if you don't sign up with Sandy but as of now I don't think you can get the Angelstone.

1st set) Each city has 1 "Do this quest to join our army" quest.
2nd set) Each city has 2 "Sign up before you can do this quest" quests.

You can only do 1 of the 1st set of quests depending on which nation you join (unless you change nations? idk how or if you can yet)

You can do all 6 of the quests in the 2nd set of quests, meaning you can get both angel and death stones.

Yes, you can change nations and do the "sign up for this nation" quest. I started in Bastok, partial completed 1st "must be in an army" quest (got bored trying to get a gnole claw or whatever its called) so headed off to sandy and did the "sign up for this nation quest" there.

So now I am techincally part of Sandy army. Didn't cost anything like changing nations in the current time. I didn't have any allied notes, so I don't know if you lose them when you change nations or not.

By the way - these two quests count towards mission 3 - even if you didn't join up with San d'Oria.

I'm signed up with Bastok, and did the quests for the Angelstone & Deathstone... later that day, I went to use the Rolanberry Maw, and got the Cait Sith cutscene (without doing the Gnole Claw quest).
