The pixie appreciation thread

I just want to say. I LOVE THE PIXIES. They are by far the coolest mobs I have ever seen. Where ToaU had truesight amnesia spamming fuckwads that knock your clothes off and terror you every 5 seconds, WotG has a cute little floating chick who cures you and Raise IIIs you. I also hereby declare that anyone who kills a pixie should be ostracized from polite society, whipped, and spat upon like a dog.

If I remember the notes correctly, you aren't supposed to lose exp if you die in Campaign.

Provided you're allied with the forces. I know I lost 4k first foray into Ronfaure [s] during campaign.

Wonder if it'd be possible to solo tougher mobs near them, could possibly be SE's way of answering the whole "We want more solo content!" If you do manage to kill them (they're a complete bitch to do so with cure spam) and build enough hate, they will aggro and won't cure/raise.

One cured me while I was fighting stuff with campaign.

I "hp aggroed" one with yellow hp and it Cure IV'd me, a party then proceeded to kill it

I've personally been Raise 3'd by a Pixie, and god it was awesome.

I too have experienced the awesome that is a pixie. I was running through Jugner and figured I was almost done when I aggro'd a couple goblins. I was like.. "Meh, i'm almost to zone." Well, I wasn't near zone it turns out and I was getting beat on. Down to ~400 HP, a Pixie floats by and Cure V's me. Well I end up dying and the Pixie floats by again after a couple minutes and R3's me. <3 I love pixies.

Several people have reported finding bottled pixies on yagudo and quadavs, didn't they say at the fanfest that you could take these to a fountain to increase the pixie population in present day?

Wouldn't Pixies hanging around the original zones would make it possible to solo to like 50 ?

Pixies more than make up for the empty content this expansion has thus far. I was farming smilodons in Batallia when one just randomly Cure IV'd me then happily floated away. A friend of mine was raised by one. Definitely an awesome answer to those who die randomly and always want a raise with no one around.

i killed a couple cause they were new and cool and they dont seem to cure me, haha. maybe it just takes them longer but i converted next to one and it floated away.
