Mining/Fishing/Harvesting

Has anyone tried any of these things in the past? I know when I went through the inlet, someone was already there fishing. I also saw lumber points in Ron, and mining points in Gusta(Freaked the heck out of me, I was wondering if I was seeing things...)

I had a few picks on me in Gusta and used about 8 and just got zinc,copper and iron.

Jugner logging looks kinda gay, much like Caedarva mire where you can't just loop around it. Until someone figures out what the crescent shaped object is anyway.

Logging in Ronfaure for the Campaign Op, got Arrowwood, Chestnut, Ash (for the Op win), I think Maple? and a bag of fruit seeds. Stopped after that because I'd finally gotten the Ash Log.

In Fort Karugo-Narugo I've logged up Dragonfruit, Cactus Stems, Bird feathers and I think that's it because after I got my dragonfruits I left <_<

i've gotten Zinc, Tin, Copper, & Silver from Gusta w/o mining gear. haven't tried w/ gear yet.

I think you get rated for the OP Missions. So, while buying the item gets the mission done, actually getting the item via harvesting would get you better marks on the evaluation when you want to rank up.

So far I did two Ops. Ehmi told gave me three lines for each stating (approximately) "soso, bad, good" for the Escort Op and "bad, bad, good" for the Warehouse OP (bought item). I also got more EXP and Campaign points for the Escort OP.

I don't know about the lines Ehmi gives you, but in terms of xp/campaign points they're set for each op (at least lvl 75s get the same, don't know if you get less if you're lower level) How well you complete the op has nothing to do with it, its all about completing.

I harvested a Burdok Root in West Saruta-Baruta [S].

I've found a total of 9 mining spots in North Gusta. 4 on the north wall near P. Mines, 1 on the south wall next to the P. Mines cut-off, & 4 on Zegham Hill (1 on each of the ramps & 1 in about the middle of the 2nd tier). Also, mythril ore can be added to what can be mined.

I found 4 on the walls near the Palborough Mines. (2 on the east and 2 on the west.) I figured that I just got really unlucky when I was on Zegham Hill because I didn't find any up there. I got pebbles, copper, tin, zinc, and mythril.
