This has most likely been posted already, so sorry if it has.
I've done 2 Crystal of Fist Campaign Ops so far, with leather craft as my main craft. Twice now I've been told by the NPC to have screwed up on the ingredients for a synth involving a wind crystal. Synths which involved earth crystals were accepted fine. Both screw ups I checked Somepage for, and were old and established synths. Any other crafts get this?
Yes same with goldsmithing; 2nd synth he asked me was wind+ purple rock and he told me i choose wrong ingredients... I did the mission again but with woodworking and it went fine.
Also why do I have access to only 3 Ops when my friens have access to 4.

Also - for you both who failed Crystal Fist, did you take your time choosing an answer? Taking long can result in fail too.
Just tryed Sandy Brave Dawn quest (3 people), we were told to go to Everbloom Hallow to train a troop.

There was 1 NPC "Infantary Recruit" and 1 monster called "Trained Crab" when we approached the NPC he began to attack the crab, not knowing what to do we joined in and helped him, around 50% we got a message saying the troop is "Unfocused" and again around 10%, when the crab died we failed the mission.
Im guessing you have to stand back and cure the troop while he solos it? but not too much, enough so he does all the work?
Wonder if "Assault:" items work in those areas.
Did windurst Brave Dawn, its 1 Tarutaru NPC vs a Trained Crab, lost the first time cuase we killed the crab. Apparently you lose the mission if you if you meele the trained crab.
We won the 2nd time by only curing the Taru NPC and let him do all the fighting and take the hits. Really easy to win but very boring. Make sure you come on a job that can cure. Allthough 1 rdm probably could solo cure him.
Another thing only people with the mission active get clear credit for it. But you don't need a tag and be on the mission to help, but you don't get credit, just exp when you win.
Well I dunno. Sandy (Mine) has 5 areas, Windy has 4, Bastok has 2, and Beastmen have 7.. so I'm not sure what to do. I too only have access to 3.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
Do these instanced areas ask to set a level cap? That sounds like a real low level simple goal like most all Campaign Ops so far.
Anyone do Security Ops yet? I can't figure out what to find for Streetsweeper I. D:
Sandy
Look around town for a "Suspicious Object" it can apparently depop, so you have to be fast. (I found mine in front of the Leathercraft guild)Originally Posted by Ohemgee
So far, I've completed four of these missions. I'm pretty sure it's going to end up being like assault missions, so I want to keep current with them.
I'm affiliated with San d' Oria.
I've completed:
-Stock & Awe I, where all I needed to do was Log a certain lumber in E. Ronfaure. Very easy.
-Vanguard-X I, Where I had to escort a knight from a garrison and bring him to a fort. The knight likes to turn around and try to go back to his original destination, but talking to him stops him, and he does this a few times. 30 minute time limit, cake to do. I did it in East Ronfaure. It's by the zone in Jugner forest, and you bring him to the fort near San d' Oria.
-Crystal Fist I, Where you need to tell the guild master what to craft. Extremely easy to do. There is apparently a time limit with how long you have to look up the item if you don't know. I checked ffxiah, found the recipe within a minute, and succeeded.
After completing these original 3, 3 more opened up today.
-Aegis Scream I, In which I had to go to a San d' Orian controlled area (I chose Jugner, you can OP with the guard) And it was an Orc that was attacking the actual fort itself. All it did was spam this Jump move, and hit the fort for about 230 each time. The fort apparently has a lot of HP, and can take a beating. There were a number of people over there, and we quickly beat the Orc that popped. Got 120 xp and credits for it.
I have around 2000 credits now, unfortunately there really isn't anything to buy, but eventually I'm sure there will be. I'd suggest everyone complete this missions asap, so you don't fall behind with the next updates when they add more.
I'll post more as I do more missions!

I completed the first three earlier. Before maintenance I had access to the new ones, but now I don't. Any ideas?
Well I've done Stock and Awe I once, Crystal Fist I once, and Vanguard X-I now twice. Just finished the second time so I guess I'll check for a new Op when I get another tag, but so far only those three are availble with Sandy controlling 5 areas. I have around 8k Allied Notes so I don't think that'd be it, I do Campaign a lot.
So something weird just happened.
I did my op earlier today, and it refreshed just now. I wanted to go do another new one. Stranegly, the ones I had access to earlier are now gone. Back to the original 3. I don't know if it's because I died in a campaign battle before, and it somehow lowered my "Rank" but I haven't ranked up so.. I find it to be very strange.
-edit: Actually, now reading the description to the tag via the NPC, he says the more advanced missions take more than 1 credit. But I only had one before. I really don't get it.
I did Bastok Crystle Fist I, failed it the first time doing a recipe I know I got right on Smithing. Cleared it easy the second time with Alchemy, got 90 limits and 480 allied notes. The smithing recipe I failed on was a bronze dagger.
For Aegis Scream, all I had to do was participate in a Campaign battle in a region already owned by my nation. Presumably, you have to win. I got 110 limit points on top of what I got from my Allied Tags, and 520 notes when I got back to Windurst.
Edit: I now only have 1 tag, and all of the "advanced" missions are still available to me.
