Anyone know where a Good place to solo at lv17 would be at?

yes just wondering if anyone knows in the past areas where a lv17DNC can solo at to get to 20. Right now I am currently at North Gustaberg (S) killing Crabs which con from DC~T another question to this is there an area somewhere around that has quite a bit of Crabs because the camp I am at only has 2 and I tend to kill them pretty fast and only stuck with easy prey mostly. If anyone know's anything please post here.

I did some of my 18-20 vs. Gigas Leeches in Qufim. You have to be particularly clever to safely pull, avoid links, avoid Wights, etc. - having the Rogetsurin would be helpful (as is having Galka HP, I think). Having TP to start is important esp. at 18, and Leeches Regeneration, TP Drainkiss, and Acid Mist TP moves suck.

But it's doable.

I think the mobs in the past are buffed up, so soloing there would be a bad idea. I tried to solo a DC Lyco in W.Saruta on my 13DNC and it was hitting me for 30-40 damage. Needless to say, I ran for the safety of Windurst and luckily zoned in with 6HP remaining. Seemed like some bullshit to me since I was just running through DC/EM Pygmoi in Tahrongi not more then 10m before.

ya well I got to level 20 unfortinitatley I had to level in the dunes /sigh always fun when a party camps on top of ya and wont move. lol anywho I got my level 20 and ya the same thing happend with me with Lyco Mandies at first but actually exping outside Bastok (S) at 13 or 14 on worms isnt that bad but is really helpful when a pixie comes along cure III you for free lol.

Lv10-12 Worms in Ronfaure (con DC-T)
Lv13-15 Rarabs + Pugils (con EM-T)
Lv16 Rarabs in Saruta (DC)
Lv17-20 Crawlers in Saruta (EM-T)

Bearing in mind that I have my own PL though and casually level sooooooo....

Don't know about any in the past, but this is what I've been doing so far:

18-20: Maze of Shakrami Soloing em-t Worms, dc-em Goblins and bats
20-24: Got a party for these levels
24-27: Qufim Worms
26-28: Started EM-T Crabs in Qufim, they don't chain as fast as Worms, but doable.

Seems like any place you can find em-t worms will be the best camp since they die fast and aren't a huge threat if they're not casting on you all the time.

Tried a DC+ rabbit in Ronfaure[S] as a 14 DNC/WAR. I got absolutely murdered.


Tried taking on EP worms, works a lot better than the rabbits but they still hit kinda hard. You can get in 2 or 3 before needing to rest or run to the local Pixie.

There are Rock Eaters at the very back of map 1 in King Ran(tab) tomb that are good exp at level 15. They were DC to Tough+ to my level 15 scholar and were about as easy to kill as the EP to DC worms outside of Bastock[S] at that level. There probably are better places to exp but this was nice easy safe exp for me once i got back there. Also be sure to go far enough back to get to the Rock eaters; the stone eaters you see closer to the entrance are too low level.

If you're in N.Gusta[S] wouldn't you have checked the Vulture's there? They should be roughly 16-18 if I remember correctly. At least I thought they were higher level than the crabs.

For future reference, the OP in Aragoneu (Meriphataud) is decent soloing for DNC 16/17-20, and I chose to go with Knife over H2H for hits (esp for fighting flies)... saplings, flies, some goblins.. I was easily able to solo toughs no problem, and no fighting with people over mobs. Just requires a little being smart; I'd wait until I was down the 70HP or so before using Curing Waltz so as not to waste TP, and didn't ws at all, etc.

Ooh, thats a good idea.

Theres another camp just northwest of there with several flies and other mobs around, I'll have to try it out after I ding 16 later.
