I know there is a pattern for which item needs to be turned in on a certain day, but has anyone else noticed that since the update all the items that need to be turned in are worth like 6,000+ GP? Im up to 100k GP in seemingly no time at all with smithing, each day i check and i can get 6000, 7000, then 6000 again. Just remember getting my anvil and apron seemed like a lot more "273 Bronze daggers" days than im seeing now.

The higher the rank of the GP item, the more points it generally gives, as well as the more points per item turned in. The higher your rank, the more high-end items you get access to over the course of the rotation.

You'll reset to Amateur ranked items in a few days, and the cycle will start over again.

Yeha i understand how the ranking works, it just seems that every day is a high ranking item. I purposely skip the low ones and i know i havent had to skip more than one day in the last couple of weeks. just seems like a long stretch without the crap ones.

I was going to post the exact same thing. I noticed that for the past 5 days it has been items with 5500+ gp. I was going to wait about a week before I jumped to conclusions but someone else saying it makes me believe they have changed something. I truley hope so! :D

noticed it too... seems like we get 5k+ items for 1 or 2 more days and low GP items for 2 days instead of 3 or 4 now... makes me wonder if that 200k GP item is really worth something..

It's just a coincidence, because several high-rank items have been required in a row, and the pattern hasn't changed.

BTW, if you didn't know, the number of guild points awarded is based on the NPC saling price (with neutral fame, eg Whitegate selling price).

Which exposes a really weird thing (to me, at least).

How come a small section of items have the same npc (and therefore guild) value for NQ and HQ? What a silly decision.
