Looking for a music group (if they exist). Amarok halp!

Last week I came across a Crysis video that had a backtrack that caught my attention. The group's name is Kalmah, so I decided to get their entire disco, and to my surprise, they're very good. I love their instrumentals, but that's the problem, I just like their instrumentals. The vocals are a bit too harsh for my liking, bringing down my overall enjoyment when listening to them.

So my question is there a band (or bands) that sounds like them instrumentally, but have a tad lighter vocals? I know part of the genre is to have a singer like that, but there may be a diamond in the rough out there I don't know about!

If you need more examples of what they sound like, here are some more songs:

    The Black Waltz
    The Groan of Wind
    Heritance of Berija
    Mindrust
    The Third, The Magical
    Bird of Ill Omen
    Heroes To Us
    Times Take Us All

I could go on, but you probably get the idea by now. Again, I'm primarily looking for the same instrumental sound with some lighter vocals. Thanks!

I don't know if this is exactly what you want. They still have harsh vocals but not nearly as guttural as Kalmah.

Catamenia - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=155twMPlKVg (ignore the anime, it was the only non-live vid I could find)

Eternal Tears of Sorrow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsmcTlOS9VA

    Dark Tranquillity - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKtIYdU3uRU

Kalmah's amazing, as are the other bands Amarok listed. I'd also recommend:

    Mors Principum Est:

    Insomnium:

    Wintersun:

If you're looking for no growls at all, then its a bit harder and you lose the genre. Melodic Death Metal is known for those awesome instrumentals you mentioned, if you want something with cleaner vocals you have to look into other genres such as Gothic, Doom, and Prog-Power. I'll try to find some other stuff with clean vocals that have strong instrumental ala Kalmah.

Awesome, thanks to both of you! All of those bands are incredible... the related links/comments on Youtube also give even more bands to check out as well.
