Yeah. The title says it all. I figured I'd make this topic since we had one about DBZ. I figure they are just driving to totally ruin our childhood/teenagehood all together. Granted I know there were other Street Fighter movies, but just.. yeah. Kristin Kreuk as Chun-Li in the new movie, Sreet Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li.

Sad part is that skit was better than the entirety of that Jean Claude Van Dam movie.

I swear that Raul Julia only played M. Bison in that movie because he knew that he was dying and that they couldn't do a sequel without him. The man died a hero.

According to interviews he only played the part because his kids asked him to. Same reason Patrick Stewart agreed to be Professor X. It's actually the same reason I'm sure a lot of actors give that excuse for a lot of weird roles they take but I actually believe these two; They earned that much trust from me.

But still Raul Julia should have been given more life to equal his immense talents

I'm having a difficult time thinking of any Hollywood actress that would technically have the thighs for Chun Li. Then again, it's kind of like none have the boobs for DoA girls. Fuck the whole stick-thin model stigma.

only reason i watch Smallville again, so i'm going to have to watch this.

and pray the plot doesn't suck as bad if it's actually "Legend of Chun-Li", they won't spend the whole movie fitting cameos of as many characters as they possibly can.

Raul Julia makes that movie worth watching. It's terrible, but taken as a B-movie and watched with that in mind, there's gold to be had there. The whole "it levitates trains, and it levitates...ME!" thing, but also my favorite lines...
