Hey thar, feel free to make fun w/e cause I am in fact a newb crafter. Only lv82 atm but once I get some more gil which should be soon Im good to get to 100 pretty quick (I has it planned out).

So anyways, Ive not leveled leathercraft sub yet and I was wondering if I would have the same chance of Cursed Togi -1 with a lv51 sub, 10 levels over cap I think is 10% chance to HQ? (not sure about subs), as I would with a lv60 sub? Doubt 9 lvs below sixty would take more than a few hours anyway, they certainly didnt with woodworking :D

I'm surprised you needed to ask this since you "has a plan" but I think the obvious answer is get WW to 110, leather to 52 and WHAM you're all set for T1 HQ's!

T1 is for chumps. T11 is where its at. Leather to 30 will let you breaksynth at T11.

your HQ tier is equal to the lowest tier across all crafts. given that it's a 99 woodworking synth (i think. i know it's t0, so that's all that matters) all you have to do is get to the skill cap in leather to give it a go. this information has been asked several times in several posts before. searching for "subcraft" and "tier" should easily yeild a plethora more of information.
