My question to you, BG, is; What's the best Katana setup? I'm verging towards Seij/Unji, but Unsho looks nice too.
Thoughts?

But seriously, I like/use Senju/Perdu. I think it works better if you have a higher attack setup and lots of STR/DEX for your Jins.
There are some people that prefer a speed build and go Unji/Perdu or something like that... but it all really depends on how you've built your NIN.
In a haste build set up (which you better be doing as nin) unji/perdu is best from what i've tested.
Basically you cannot do anything wrong with a Senji/Perdu - its your general tool to work with. Other setups are for more special situations and builds.
ideal low delay set-up is something like perdu/hayabusa, on piercing weak mobs you can do perdu/blau for example too.
to keep your jin substantial however senju/perdu is the best non-relic option. (excluding firesday, etc.) if you don't have/want to get - senju, fudo produces a very similar result mainhand, check the vs. stickied topic in advanced for an analysis of that i posted.
unji is a good offhand prior to perdu or hayabusa.
Senji / Perdu
Kikoku/Yoshimitsu

senj/perdu
I had better results with Senji/Perdu then Unji/Perdu, but both put up similar damage....I mean the best setup is Mamushito+1/Mamushito+1 because the more a mob is stunned the more you don't have to recast shadows causing more damage

funny you should say that, espresso on pande used to rock this combo but now uses perdu offhand, so i guess thats betterOriginally Posted by Trythison
Kikoku/Perdu !
Kikoku/ merc knife
Yeah let's be clev-oh...wait...that's not clever, it's fucking stupid.Originally Posted by Niabius
I strongly disagree with the merc knife off-hand.Originally Posted by Niabius
However, if you have dagger merits I think that Blau/Perdue or Blau/Kikoku actually wins at most meritpo camps.
From my experience, for combos not involving relic upgrades, either Unji/Perdue or Senji/Perdue win. Which one is better depends on the rest of your gear, what buffs are on you, what enfeebles are on the mob, and what you're fighting.
Sorry, kind of have to agree to that.Originally Posted by SathFenrir
Senj/perdu I find best. Unji/perdu situationally.
