It's been 5 months or so since I've got to merit my NIN. This being because I was capped on merits till my Sam got to 75. Anyways, I went to Mamool Ja today and I was getting some nice Highs for Jins. Most were averaging 1k and I got a few really nice ones. I've exped here a ton and never got within 300 of these 2 highs.

If any of you have pulled these numbers out at mamool Ja I would like to see and know your setup. I will list my setup for ws if anyone wants. Basically I'm just a little disturbed that I've shattered my past highs in 1 pt. The cor was using Fighters roll and chaos, the brd march and minuet. Wses were done between 100-130 tp. My food was sole sushi. pt was whm brd nin war rng cor.

Perhaps, but I'm looking for just Nins to respond to this. Also on the mobs in the area in question. The other post is too general for what I'm looking for.

Those numbers are hardly unusual with that party setup. You have a warrior with a corsair using warrior's roll, giving extra double attack proc; judging by your tp after your weaponskill, those numbers are with double attack proc'ing. That coupled with chaos roll and a bard, your getting one hell of a boost.

When i tank i'm in an evasion setup, but i'll macro in either koga chainmail or shura togi, and ninja tekko+1 or koga tekko (depending on the time of day), with that, no bard or corsair, jin will do 500-750 average on mamool, 800-1k on puks.

What exactly are you asking here? It's obvious from the TP return that you nailed two double attacks and at least 4 crits out of 6 hits, maybe 5. Jins like that are high, and unusual, yes, but it's essentially just good luck playing in your favor.

Its just odd because I've done over 300 merits and I have never seen any nin pull these numbers out at mamool ja, even with 2 brds and a cor in pt. I've seen 1500 to the blm mamool once by a very HQ nin. My old highs used to be 1350 on a puk and 1250 or so on a mamool Ja. Maybe it was just a few lucky wses, but its odd that out of all the pts Ive been in this is the first time Ive pulled numbers like this.

If anyone has some screens they would like to show that would be cool. I'd like to see what your setup was vs mine.

Sea Puks are weak as shit, I've broken 2k Rampages on them. COR and BRD in party, obviously you are going to hit some wiked Jins. wtf is the point of this? There are like 10 threads about NIN Gear and Jin gear and there is a Uber WS Dmg thread and a "show your gear thread". Could have skimmed nay of those to see what people do.

Those are really nice numbers. One of those is a 14 TP return. That combined with the attack boost of chaos and minuet, and some crit hits, will produce that kind of a number. I'm not surprised really at the numbers with that setup but nice job.

TY, The Tp return got a lil screwed up on the high mamool one. Atks were timed just right. I know the damage is unusual, but it seems really unusual. Ive Daed on hundreds of wses and never seen these numbers. I assume I got really lucky 2 times. I'll exp later on to see if I can get some highs like these again.

You can DA more than once during Jin, and with a WAR in party during fighter's roll and brutal earring, that's not too uncommon.
