Yes, the commercials onHBO they've been running for a few weeks now say it's the last season. Sad to say, is an amazing show.

well, all 4 seasons are out on DVD. I plan to get them when I have room in the budget again.

That being said, it is not hard at all to find torrents of the show (and if torrents are up, usenet will provide as well). matter of fact, it looks like quite a few episodes from season 5 are floating around already. i'm not sure what the forum rulebook says about this kind of thing so i will leave it at that.

sorry for Necro Bump but if anyone has On Demand and watched next week episode... holy shit. They did Omar so wrong, i wanted him to kill Marlo and his whole crew right before the police got him so all that Shit McNulty's been doing would be a waste. lol Only 2 more episodes left

I saw Stringer Bell getting killed so that wasnt so much of a surprise to me. Omar getting blasted by that little asshole is the worst, but thats so what the writers wanted. Real gangsters dying to the punk bitches!

i guess they couldnt really have Omar take out marlo because it would make all the shit mcnulty has been pulling pointless, but they still should have given him a blaze of glory.

Well series finale out next week On Demand, so sad to see this show go. Looks like McNulty is going down and that dickhead ex cop is gonna get Marlo out of trouble by talking about the Wire Tap. Will be interesting to see how they wrap everything up. Will be fucked up if it ends like The Sopranos though lol

Pretty fantastic finale.

Just want to touch on a couple things:

Looks like Michael will be following the footsteps of Omar, being a renegade on the streets while trying to stay alive. Or he could be the Marlo protege.

Marlo goes back to the street (that was a pretty impressive move he put on those kids on the corner). Probably going to get locked up for good after Carcetti wins the Governor seat. Or maybe he just wanted one last taste of the streets before moving on for good.

Everything seemed to work out a little too perfectly for most of the good guys and the ending was a little bit too clean and happy, but all in all it was a great finale.
