I miss you too my little mushpuff. I've been extremely busy, despite the fact that I still browse these forums almost daily. Back to football --> Damn you Patriots...nothing can stop the Patriots in all honesty. Their pre-season is everyone elses regular season. They pull out so many different sets/plays that teams haven't seen in the playoffs, which they don't even need to do, because as someone previously mentioned, cover Moss poorly on 3 plays and that's 3 touchdowns.

It'll be interesting if Moss decides to become an FA (I'm surprised the Pats haven't tried to ink him to a contract after he and Brady destroyed defenses).

Also, I didn't watch the Pats-Jags game (someone ruined it for me while I was downloading it, @ 97% too), but was Moss just shut down by Rashean Mathis, or did they not throw to him? I'm presuming the latter because Brady still went 26-28

Well, the Jags did a great job to shut down the big play (except the big 53 yard pass to Donte Stallworth that looked like a throw away) so Moss was pretty much shut down except that one catch. Brady did a lot of 5-10 yard dump offs to Maroney, Welker, and all them. Goes to show that if you shut down the big play, they can hurt you every other way.

Also, work sucks. Sorry to not see you around and talk football stuff. =[

Rivers continues to have a good game. This game is like a total opposite of the last. The last one, the Chargers were at full force with the Colts missing a ton of guys. Now the Colts have everyone back, and the Chargers are limping with Gates and his toe and LT with his knee, yet they are still winning.
