Convert .doc to .pdf ?

Probably easy answer to find but thought it would be easier to ask someone that knows.

Bottom line is here at work I am tired of manually filling in customer information by a pen on our order forms, and the company doesn't have a way to just type it in and print it. This would make my life along with the other representatives at my store a hell alot easier if I just converted it myself.

Help me be a hero in my work place :D

Are you trying to make a PDF form, or just need to output to PDF?

I've only ever done forms using Acrobat Pro. However, you can get free PDF writers that would allow you to "print" to PDF from Word or whatever.

http://www.fineprint.com/products/pdffactory/index.html is what we use, I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for. It basically creates a virtual printer that makes a PDF out of whatever you print to it. So when you have a .doc you want to make into a PDF, you'd "print" to the virtual printer, and it'd pop up with the PDF.

Basically just needing to make it where an empolyee can open up the file click some check boxes to check the products and fill in customer information in the correct fields and print, w/o saving so we can keep blank document.

Why do you want it to be a .pdf if all you're doing is printing it?
