NPC Apkallu

How do the green lettered NPC apkallu appear in Mount Zhalyom. Is it just random time, or do I need to kill some to get them to appear?

I have read and heard that they can repop in place of certain normal monster apkallu. I can't speak on this firsthand but I am sure you can find it in a wiki.

I checked otherwiki, they don't have anything unless I'm searching it wrong.

I've watched a yellow one depop and a green one pop in place of it a few times in zhaloam and reef, without any being killed. Idk if there is any kind of trigger thou, probably timed or just random.

i don't know of any rhyme or reason to the NPC apkallus or the mob apkallus there. from personal experience i have a suspicion they are tied to a system that SE either didn't fully implement, or is broken/unknown(apkallu hate/AA rumors).

i do know both NPC and mob apkallus can follow you, i've had all 3 NPCs follow me, and they would even chase me down after i zoned and came back. i also had a mob apkallu follow me once, it didn't count as aggro and carby didn't auto attack it. i called a GM and after he warped me around a bit and it kept following me, he killed it, he was as clueless as me. in hindsight it was probably a NPC apkallu that i had traded to that then after converted back to a mob somehow.
