...and finally during the finale a few references to him being alive were made. (In the pharmacy, the lady was going to call him as if he was living, the argument with the new chief of medicine) All just really make me think it's him. What better character anyway?

That's one of the things I've wondered the couple times I've watch the last episode since it aired. While the argument with the new chief might have been Jack confused because he was drunk/high on whatever medicine he was taking, the pharmacist apparently believes him to be alive. Or they might just say (if they do say anything and he is dead) that it was a new person and not aware of his death. They wanted you to think it was a normal flashback (even if they did drop hints somewhat) until the end when you find out it was a flash of the future.

The only TV shows I watch that aren't sports-related are Lost, Entourage, and Heroes. After being without Lost so long, you realize how much better Lost is than Heroes and everything else out there.

You have to think about it, if he's really dead why do they keep sidestepping with crap like that? Also another thing that had me thinking. The writers confirmed that Christian Shephard is indeed dead, but what if that was just a front, his off island identity. They could just be saying that to get people off the subject, but it's crystal clear now to me. He alone is the most linked person off the island to the survivors. Sawyer, Anna Lucia, Claire, and well Jack. The insane thing is that since there will still be flashbacks, there may be even more. GOD I can't wait till it airs! 2 HOURS of win IMO.

Bullshit! The episode where Sun gets pregnant, they show from Jin's perspective what english people sounded like to him (all muddled up and talking backwards).

It will be a mix of flashbacks and flashforward (both on and off the island).

So the fact that season four will only have 8 episodes doesn't bother anyone? Look what the writer's strike did for Heroes, and Lost was 3 times the show Heroes will ever be. I hope they can pull it off.

Around when the strike started I remember Damon Lindelof(might have been Carlton Cuse) saying that the 8 episodes had a natural cliff hanger and they changed nothing cause of the strike unlike with Heroes and how Tim Kring had to change the last episode's ending to make it more of a season finale cliff hanger instead of a winter hiatus break. So I'm not as upset over having to wait for the full 16 episodes b/c well see it at some point, instead of how Heroes ended cause of the strike :\
