Man/Joy War has questions on WS Gear (Earring + Body)

Quick question - for all you axe / joy wars out there. With the following gear would you

a) Wear Suppa + Brutal for Rampage WS?
b) Wear Fowling + Brutal for Rampage WS?
c) Wear Triumph + Brutal Earrings for Rampage WS?
d) Haub+1 or Hecatbomb Harness for Body on WS?

8 Sword Merits for War. 5 Str Merits.

WS Gear:

Hand1: Maneater
Hand2: Joyeuse
Head: Voyager Sallet / O-Hat (Depending on mob)
Body: Hecatomb Harness / Haub +1
Hands: Heca Hands
Neck: Soil Gorget
Legs: B. Haidate
Feet: Heca Feet
Ammo: Bomb Armlet
Ring1: Triumph Ring
Ring2: Rajas Ring
Earring1: Brutal
Earring2: XXXXXX

Sorry I might be wrong on answers the earrings question as I'm not a WAR, but with Rampage(and most multi-hits) you'd probably be better off dropping the Soil Gorget in favor of a PCC/Sea Torque to start, and in terms of a) Suppa won't do anything for Rampage, you'd want to go with b) or c), though I can't say which would be better offhand.

And I'd have to think Hauby+1 would beat out n.body for a 1h WS.

IMO, Drop the Soil Gorget and use a Pcharm or sea torque if you have it. B or C, depending how your accuracy is and if you really need that extra +3 acc. Haub +1 ftw.

Did anyone ever come to a conclusion on if the ACC+ on the gorgets extended to all hits of a multihit WS, and how much accuracy it adds?

there is some where where ppl test it out that the gorget only affect the first hti of multi hit ws. which basically make the gorget useless in rampage. I have soil gorget too, when I compared it with pcc, I just can't notice any different in term of damage or acc at all.

I will agree with the others that it will be the best to use brutal + assault earring combo. As for body, hauberk is better than heca for multi hit ws that takes less modifier so you want acc/att as much as you can. Head I wouldn't use Ohat, if you have Adaman Celeta, go with that. If not then I guess Ohat is fine and stack more attack elsewhere.

You don't have Axe merit right? Then I think you should drop some STR gears and get more Acc.

I don't see why anyone would use Ohat over Adaman Celata on any ws really. Outside of Askar/Heca/Voyager and situationally unicorn I don't think there's any other headpiece that a war should be using for any WS.

But you did want him to use Ohat instead of Adaman Celeta. Ares and Maat cap are harder to get. Adaman Celeta is more in line with Ohat in term of difficulty to obtain.

I use Fowling/Brutal and Hecatomb Harness mainly, Haub+1 on higher evasion mobs.

Honestly, I'd go with the suppa with as little acc as you have (relatively). Suppa/Brutal will be fine. Also, Haub +1 over Heca everytime. I'd use heca over NQ Haub though.

From my understanding, he does not have any +Axe merit, so I weight 5 Acc > 8 Atk. If his Axe is capped at 8, there you go Adaman C.

With 92.5% Acc rating and 20% Double Attack rating,
6 Hits Rampage = 21.36 ?, 5 Hits = 53.41 ? and 4 Hits = 19.59 ?

With 95% Acc rating and 20% Double Attack rating,
6 Hits Rampage = 24.55 ?, 5 Hits = 57.11 ? and 4 Hits = 14.02 ?

Notice the difference ? This is the "least" that he can get. If he manage to get 92.5% from 90%, the difference will be a lot more huge.

This question is about WS. During Rampage the offhanded weapon only swings once, so the +5 skill will only affect one swing out of the 6 (with no DAs) being done.

Please explain how the 5 skill on one swing is better than any other option on 5 (done by the axe in the main hand).

2-3 Acc for 5 hits Ramapge is always > 5 acc for joytoy off hand.
