I better start seeing some real fight soon rather than the one-sided wipeouts we've seen so far in this arc. I get that Oda wants to show off the fantastic power of the new characters but I really don't want to watch the series start to spin its wheels at this point.

This "Haki" power that the amazons use is probably what allows Rayleigh to attack Kizaru, and I would be willing to bet Luffy learns how to use it by the end of this arc.

20$ this chicks ability has no effect at all on Luffy since he's so dense and there'll be one of those odd "OMG" faces from them, yea, you know the face if you read/watch OP. Kind of like when they found out the Lightning dudes power didn't affect Luffy.

He knows who his dad is now. And it's probably one of the few symbols Luffy would actually remember (his visual memory is pretty terrible if the flags he's drawn are any example) if it was any part of him growing up. Alternatively it could be a symbol he associates with Shanks. I just want the symbol to be something that links this new shichibukai and Luffy's immediate 'family'
